About IIIT Pune

IIIT Pune B.Tech admission 2023 is ongoing. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is responsible for conducting counselling and admission for the institute. The JoSAA 2024 round 6 seat allotment result will be announced on July 26, 2023. The cutoff is also expected to get released on the same day. The JoSAA 2024 round 5 seat allotment result was released on July 21, 2023. The JoSAA 2024 round 4 seat allotment results have been displayed. Candidates can secure their seats by participating in the online reporting process. IIIT Pune cutoff 2023 for JoSAA rounds 1, 2, 3 and 4 are now available for reference. Also, The CCMT/CCMN 2023 round 3 seat allotment result has been released for IIIT Pune admission 2023 to M.Tech and MCA courses.

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Pune was formed under the Government’s scheme of opening twenty new Indian Institutes of Information Technology in the country. It started its first academic session in July 2016 at a temporary campus. IIIT Pune was founded under the non-profit Public Private Partnership (PPP) method by the alliance of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) of the Government of India, the Government of Maharashtra, and some industry partners. It is presently being mentored by the Government College of Engineering, Pune (COEP). The establishment of IIIT Pune was done to enhance the quality of Information Technology (IT) in all the job sectors in India.

IIIT Pune aims to impart excellent knowledge to students to become experts in Information Technology and address all the challenges faced by the IT industry in India, therefore helping the IT market grow. The All India Council approves IIIT Pune for Technical Education (AICTE) and its present Director is Dr Anupam Shukla. The fact that it is a newly formed institute does not hold IIIT Pune from becoming well known and demanded among the students.

IIIT Pune Admissions 2023: The closing date for CCMT 2023 counselling for IIIT Pune M.Tech/ M.Sc admissions is June 24, 2023. The first round of CCMT 2023 seat allocation results will be released on June 29, 2023.

Admission to IIIT Pune are made based on a candidate’s performance in JEE Main. The candidate must satisfy certain eligibility conditions to secure a seat in any undergraduate courses. The institute announces IIIT Pune admissions after the declaration of JEE Mains results.
